Deacons is a family owned jewellery business that has branches in and around Swindon. They sell good quality jewellery, not cheap and tatty stuff.
Their prices are not cheap, but you get what you pay for.
The staff there are very knowledgeable about the stuff that they sell. You can buy secondhand jewellery there as well as new.
This branch in Wood Street is in the Old Town area of Swindon. There are some parking spaces in Wood Street, but you have to put some money into a parking meter, so make sure that you have some loose change in your pocket if you are intending to go there.

This very old fashioned store has been in Old Town for years. Very large range of jewellery and watches and some unusual pieces. All price ranges catered for. Also do repairs and alterations. What surprised me the first time I went there was the huge range of gifts for all occassions. They also have a brill. gift wrapping service. Do go inside — you’ll be surprised!
