Fab fab little newsagents. Great range, lovely friendly staff. The lady who runs this place makes you feel like you have known her for years and remembers your name, your kids names, their ages and also your shoe size it seems!!! I really do not know how she does it. Customer service at its best she deserves an award. blesss her.
Its range is good, usual array of sweets, crisps, choc, pop and newspapers/​mags. They also carry a small range of fresh produce with some unusual lines such as freshly made samosas. Very good indeed.
The only reason I do not use this place more is that is tiny — really poky. I literally have to pull the buggy up at a precarious angle to get it through the door not good for baby.
oh, oh I nearly forgot they also do a range of ‘own brand’ type economy lines which are great if you are on a budget. If my son is moaning for a drink I send him in with 50p and he can get a 20p can of coke or fizzy orange (they are slightly smaller than the regular but not much) and a 30p pick and mix. This keeps him happy whilst we are waiting at the nearby bus stop to head into town.
