Ventura Park

Ventura park although I frequent on occasion is really just a clone of other business parks, it backs the traffic up completely on a weekend I once got trapped in the Sainsburys car park side for over two hours on a Saturday… with added nandos and pizza express its got a lot of shops to choose from if your an avid spender notice didnt say shopper !

really not a fan of Ventura although there are good shops there the traffic is horrendous

i quite often go here and enjoy the good variety of shops located around here.
they have toys r us, matalan, currys, KFC, boots, Asda, M&S, Hobby craft, next, and sports world so there are plenty of shops.
the only downside is the traffic and parking, its a nightmare to get into at busier periods

Would have given this 5 stars if it weren’t for the traffic. It is very poorly laid out,
There are 3 areas, sainsburies area. The area around ASDA and the one by M&S. All 3 areas are brilliant except every traffic exit is combined into the same place, rather than being spread out to create an ease of traffic flow.
Great if you fancy parking in one area and walking though I suppose. Does have a lot of decent shops. I would say its Tamworths only decent shopping area.

i love ventura park! it has some great shops all in one area! i really love the big asda there! even though every time i go in it reminds me of an airport haha! although yes the traffic and the roundabout can be really bad! there is also plenty of places to eat aswell! definate worth a visit!

really good retail park with an awesome collection of shops but as we all know the traffic situation is awful. if possible go during the week as the traffic is awful. shops include next, asda, comet, currys, homebase, toys r us, m&s, boots, jjb sports, sportsworld, harveys, blacks, hobbycraft

tamworths shopping park.
there is homebase, halfords, comet, toys r us, motherworld, matalan, hobbycraft, boots, sportsworld, next, rosebys, WHSmiths, kfc, and im sure there are a few more.
also situated in ventura park, are a huge marks and spencers and a 2 storey asda where sharon osbourn recorded one of her adverts — apparantly.
jusy opposite ventura is the jolly sailor retail park, so plenty of shopping opportunities.
ventura also plays host to a burger van and ice cream truck, incase you dont fancy a kfc, or the drive through McDonalds in the jolly sailor retail park.
homebase is a new addition to ventura, and offers a large outside area filled with things for your garden.
toys r us and motherworld has designated parent and child parking outside their stores.
boots is a large store, much bigger than the one in the town centre.
the two main entrances to ventura are quite regularly very busy with traffic, especially at weekends, so it can be a nightmare.
there are plenty of parking spaces available though, with some for the sole purpose of quick parking to use the cash point, situated outside the boots store.
if you need toilets, then there are some in asda, and kfc or mcdonalds, although to get there, you do have to cross a very busy road. there are traffic lights, and a safe crossing though.
