I was charged for breakfast even though staying at the hotel they promised a free breakfast. I contacted the manager James after the hotel stay and had my breakfast refunded. Also their wifi had awful signal. If you stay in the hotel the only place it will work will be the Pickering Room downstairs by the bar. Will not work in the room. I work at a tech company and rely on my an internet connection for work so this was not something I liked. The rooms are nice and the bathtubs are pretty luxurious. Did not seem like the older hotel staff were very friendly, they always seemed to sigh before making me a drink or helping me to order breakfast. The younger staff were energetic and nice.

Central village hotel, with two bars. Serves food. Since the latest renovation there has been a vast improvement with a great improvement in the overall atmosphere. The food could be better and the menu does not change very often. Whilst not being particularly child friendly on the menu, if you ask, they will do childrens portions of things like sausage and mash and pasta in a tomato sauce. Good range of beers and you can even have a dimpled glass if you want. I go there regularly for an early doors drink.
