Don’t miss this remote Inn in beautiful Dartmoor. The food is wonderful — I had a pea and mint risotto that was delicious and beautifully presented. My husband had Bangers & Mash with crispy onions and my teenage children had yummy burgers. They have two lovely gardens and the Inn itself is16th Century with thick stone walls, slate floors and a really relaxed, friendly atmosphere. Children are welcome in the dining areas and the garden as well as friendly dogs. If you like Sticky Toffee Pudding — my absolute favourite pudding — then get it here. It’s brilliant and served with a dollop of clotted cream on the side for a few more calories if you need them!
