A fantastic resource in the centre of Tavistock. Car parking nearby. Great selection of children’s and adults books — fiction and non-​fiction. Computers for hire. Very helpful and friendly staff. Bedtime story reading and Bounce and Rhyme for babies. Lots of information leaflets and displays in the foyer. Can also borrow CDs and DVDs. If something isn’t in stock it can be reserved and this is free if the reservation is made on a children’s ticket. Has recently become automated which is a shame because it reduces interaction with the very pleasant staff. Everyone should be a member of a library!
