This pub is a lot of fun. Plenty of room inside and a nice big partially-​sheltered patio area outside. This is the first place I’ve ever seen wine ON TAP before, but apparently that’s not a novelty around here. Still cracked me up though! (on a side note… yes I did try some and no I do not recommend it). The staff is super nice too — they let me and my friends come in to use the bathroom even when they were trying to close up. Much appreciated!!!

This is a nice pub in the summer due to the beer garden out the front and its a pretty big building so doesnt get too busy. It does have a tendancy to attract the football crowds though especially when tournaments are on so we tend to avoid it then. People have complained in the past about fights spilling on to the street at these times but we have never personally experienced this and when its quiet its a nice place for a drink. Situated towards the top of the hill, parking outside can be a bit of a problem but there are a couple of large car parks in walking distance.
