Awful customer services waited 2.5 hours for a takeaway to be delivered 3 phone calls to which they all said it was on its way and the manager would ring me which he never did. It finally turns up and the driver said they have him wrong food but still wanted us to pay full price the food was stone cold we said no. He then phoned his manager 3 times to which he thought was funny and said we was getting a bargain meal. Absolutely disgusted with them and sent food back they ruined out family evening and at 9.45pm have to go out and get something when we phones at 7.15pm!!! Never use these people again

The restaurant is situated in the same building as the New Greenham Arts, so it’s convenient to combine eating or having a drink with a visit to a show or the gallery. I ate there on a Saturday night and it was about a third to half full. Service was prompt enough. I ordered sheek kebab followed by lamb rogon, bhindi bhaji and pillau rice. Before my starter arrived, a waiter took my napkin away, I have no idea why. The starter was served with fresh salad, looked and tasted good. The lamb rogan was not as expected, it was nothing like any rogan I’d ever had. The sauce was mostly tomato including liberal quantities of partially cooked tomatoes but lacked onion and cardamon. The bhini bhaji was also not the classic recipe and also featured lots of partially cooked tomatoes. The pillau rice was too dry, probably having been kept warm. All that said, the meals were edible and not unpleasant and I ate most of the food. My overall view was that I would go back at some time but perhaps try their specials next time. Prices are very reasonable.

It’s a littel far out, but by far the best Indian food in Newbury /Thatcham! The waiters are friendly, albeit sometimes a little slow. We eat there with popadoms a main each, a side each and a drink each for about 30GBP for the two of us. Try the Chicken Tikka Masala for something sweet and a bit spicy, its amazing!
