I was staying in Thetford to visit the Lakenheath area with my dad, who lived there for 3 years in the 1970s. We stayed at The Glebe Bed & Breakfast for two nights and really enjoyed ourselves.
The staff here are incredibly kind and helpful. Breakfast was delicious, and the accommodations are incredibly comfortable and quaint.
The road to turn on/​off of from The Glebe is incredibly busy, so take caution when turning on/​off the main road.
