Food quality good.
No music on in restaurant.
Service a little to be desired.
Please & thank you are just manners.
Clean restaurant but lacking in atmosphere & service.

Been here regularly for around 8 years and today was slightly better than day before where 4 staff standing around at the grill station not a care about someone standing at the counter to be served?!
Today served by a newbie while 2 female manager’s stocking cabinets and chattering away as tables remained covered in used items left by previous patrons. Very relaxed attitude seems to extend to the employees here not just its customers so it seems.
Will I return no is the simple answer would I recommend this establishment again an emphatic No although I would recommend the Grieggs round on Main Street where the staff and the food is way ahead of this particular extension of this well used chain.

When you’re in need of a Maccas, this is the place to go. I mean, it’s just the same as all the others really but I have found the food tends to be better here than the nearby one in Darnley.
It’s quite small, has a drive through and doesn’t ever really get too busy. It’s generally pretty clean and the staff seem friendlier than usual. I mean, they didn’t even laugh when my husband ordered «mozzarella strippers» in the drive thru (I can’t say that I didn’t laugh).
Remember that now you have to pay 5p extra for your bag, which the staff seem incredibly awkward about. I think some people are outraged at having to pay for that paper bag, I guess you could try to re-​use it?
Maccas. I’m not proud of eating there, but for a bi-​yearly visit it fills a void.
Note: this one is open 7am — 11pm whereas Darnley is open 24 hours.

I’m a bit of a sad case and just recently passed my driving test and got a car so the drive-​thru at McDonalds is a whole new world for me. I’m at the stage of ‘crusing with the boys’ and driving round the block like a 17 year old although I don’t have music blaring as I’m easily stressed out. I decided to come here with G-​Bot the other day to grab a Happy Meal and test out my driving skills.
Like a complete idiot, I drove to the wrong window at the drive-​thru and was asked by the guy at window number three to drive round again, oops… After we got out order we decided to sit in the car park and eat our goodies and after being disappointed by the Happy Meal toy I was also completely disappointed by the entire meal. Now, I know it’s McDonalds and I shouldn’t expect too much but this was just disgusting. The chips were old, brown and soggy, the burger bag was cooked to within an inch of it’s life and my bottle of water wasn’t even chilled.
I was utterly disappointed and think I’ll be giving this McDonalds branch a wide berth from now on.
