Ideal destination if you want a barely warmed breakfast buffet with fatty bacon, deep fried tasteless sausages and cold beans. I can’t comment on the eggs because there were none available. «Fresh» coffee tasted like the beans had been roasted over old cigarettes suggesting that the coffee maker is well overdue for a cleaning cycle.
Foul mouthed clientele and surly staff complete an altogether unpleasant dining experience.
In conclusion, should you wish for a decent hot breakfast with hot food and helpful staff, there’s a McDonalds a few kilometres west of here.

The food in here is really hit and miss. sometimes the meat and veg look dry looking other times it looks lovely, and you want to go up for seconds. recently they have changed their menu and the way they serve which has improved their customer service. Alcohol prices are still too steep. The desserts mind are valuable for money. not the first choice to go out to if wanting a meal out, but nice all the same.

Food was ok. Limited choice of veg and the beef was tough and chewy. Turkey was nice, carvery meal cost £3.99 and you always get what you pay for. Quality of food not the best.

I used to love this restaurant when it was brewsters. It had a childrens play area where the children could play safely while theadults enjoyed a drink in the family area or the beer garden. They also served all kinds of food from ordnary pub meals to cooked dinners to curries. Now its a Tobys carvery. They’ve closed the play area and only serve cooked dinners and salads. Although i have to say the food is lovely we rarely go there now due to the lackof choice.

This used to be a really good family resturant, but since it became a Toby carvery they don’t seem to cater for children anymore. The food is nice and it’s reasonably priced as long as you don’t want to order off the menu. They still do child sized portions but only of the adult meals and the indoor playarea has gone.
Overall its a good night out, just for adults

This is now a Toby Cavery restaurant.
I have only been there on a Sunday and the food was fantastic. The yorkshire puddings were to die for. You collect you meat from the cavery like the veg and yorkshires etc. If you have a big appetite you can go back for more veg and yorkshires.
Well worth a visit.
