Pizza Hut

I will definitely not be returning to this Pizza Hut.
The service was extremely poor. We waited ages before our order was taken and then another 50 minutes for the food!
I would have left but didnt want to deal with the screaming of 2 young children who had been promised a pizza hut.
WHen the food arrived it was ok but they had completely missed a pizza off our order.
I complained & was given a 50% discount and told that they were experiencing problems with short staffing.
It wasnt overly busy and a lot of the servers didnt seem to be busy.

I have eaten here on quite a few occasions with varying results although it must be said it does seem to be taking a downward turn. I visited with my wife and youngest child who is 1, we had to seat ourselves because we were ignored when we entered (ok they were a little busy but not over the top a simple be with you in a minute from a member of staff would have been nice)
When the women came by with the menu’s they were pretty much thrown on the table.
When we did eventually get our food about 45 minutes later i had my starter with my main course and to be blunt the food wasn’t all that great.
By strange coincidence all three of us have upset stomachs today. wont be eating there again!

This restaurant is located in the middle of a busy shopping centre in Torquay.
There are carparks in various streets around the store, but the restaurant itself is set on a pedestrian only street.
The restaurant is very clean and tidy, but is not very large and is more long and thin.
The layout is not particularly great either, it is very hard to get in here if you have a pushchair or wheelchair as the tables are so close together and you find yourself asking people at almost every table to pull there chairs in which doesn’t add to the experience.
The chairs aren’t the comfiest and service on the while can be quite slow.
The food is reasonable though, but on occasions it hasn’t arrived at the same times and some people have almost finished eating when others have just started (a family of six so not a big group).
Overall not a great experience, food is good, but the experience itself means I probably wouldn’t go back again as it simply isn’t suitable if you have a pram and young children.

I haven’t been for some time as the last time we went they lost the order, admittedly they apologised but we then had to reorder and start our wait all over again. We weren’t impressed when the meal arrived as it was one pizza short! What a waste of an evening. They gave us 50% off the bill but with five sharing the food for four it wasn’t a great experience. One we will miss in future.
On the plus side the salad bar was nice and the children liked the icecream factory. It was also reasonably priced even before the 50% reduction. Although the restaurant was busy it was clean as were the toilets.
Shame about the service.

i visisted here in october half term, with 2 other adults and 2 children, i waited 20 mintues to be seen, than i was seated, i helped my self, it took another 30 minutes to ask for a drink. by this time the kids where fed up so where the adults, we just asked for the bill and left, without waiting for a drink. if you want fast food dont bother goin here
