The cutest green grocers you will ever go to.
This tiny box shop hosts the freshest and nicest fruit and vegetables you will ever come across. Now, i’m not a huge fan of the smell of greengrocers (awkward childhood moment again) but this little basket is so cute you immediately dismiss the smell and sheer tiny’ness of the place.
Set on a terraced street (Vale Terrace for the boffins) it really is something to marvel at. A little shabby looking due to quite a lot of chipped paint its as if this is all part of the authenticity of the Basket.
The bananas in here really are my favourite and the lady who serves now says to me; ‘here for your monkey again, love?’ which makes me happy.
Prices are as reasonable as possible, of course, you pay a bit more than the major supermarkets but i feel it’s worth it to keep the place going.
Oh, they also do deliveries if your stocking up!
