A true hidden gem, located on the edge of the welsh valleys, set in wonderful countryside, it is well worth the effort to find this hidden treasure. The staff are all dressed as the servants of a Colonel Prichard, a local bigwig at the time of the civil war. The entrance fee is for the tour of the manor house and all the servants that you encounter upon your tour are not only dressed the part but also speak in a manner fitting their costumes. The dialogue is informative, witty and entertaining. I came away with a deeper understanding of not only what is was like at the time of the civil war but also the part that south Wales played during that turbulent time of British history. Excellent restaurant serving local welsh produce but the menu may be limited at certain times due to the Manor being a popular wedding venue. Ample free parking
