Merchant House

This is an OK hotel and most of the rooms are a good size. Some have been refurbished and some have not been done yet. It was rather pricey for what you get.
I had to put it as two stars as one of my co-​workers got a room with only a bath tub and a jug as a means of rinsing her hair. She complained and was told by staff that not everyone wants a shower. Strange answer, as its clear she isn’t one of them. If this particular guest wants a shower just give her another room. Instead they tried to add a shower head to the old tap and made it worse. Several complains later she got another room, but its not good customer services. Also heard about towels not being replaced or taken away, without providing new ones.
I’m not impressed by this hotel, but it has decent breakfast and the staff was generally very nice.
