Spar

This is my local ‘break the glass in case of emergency’ grocery when I’m visiting 3MS. It’s a 2 minute walk from the house (or 30 second drive when it’s pissing it down) and open late, so it makes life much easier when I need a candy break or we suddenly run out of bread.
Staff is friendly and helpful, the selection is decent, and as the only grocery/​booze mart in the village, I’m pretty dam grateful it stocks anything at all. The lunch on the go section is pretty good too, in terms of variety and quality.
Beats the heck out of Canadian convenience stores, although it does have convenience store prices, so I really try NOT to buy anything in here if I can wait until the next trip to Sainsbury’s or Tesco!
