I’ve been meaning to try out Strada for a while as I love Italian food and all my partner ever wants to go for it is Zizzi, which has never really wowed me. I really enjoyed this though. They have quite a big, varied menu so I’m sure anyone can find something they like. The prices are reasonable and the food is quite good. On warm days and evenings they open up the big window out front so it feels very open and airy without feeling like you’re braving the elements if there’s a sudden gust of wind. Overall I would definitely go to Strada again.

Went here for lunch with my husband the other day and was pleasantly surprised! YUMMY stuff for sure! First off we had… Olive Ascolana; green olives stuffed with beef & pork, breaded and fried. Crostinit; mini toasted ciabatta slices topped with warm goat’s cheese, rocket and balsamic vinegar. …and for my main course… Insalata Spinaci; a fresh spinach salad tossed with avocado, semi-dried Italian tomatoes and crisped pancetta with pine nuts and parmesan shavings in a mustard dressing. My husband had the Rigatoni Speck; a Rigatoni in a cream sauce of traditionally Lombardian cheeses, gorgonzola & Grana Padano, finished with northern Italian smoked mountain ham and rocket. Everything was so wonderful and the service was just as fantastic, and the prices are right as well! This is a chain, but they aren’t lacking in quality like so many chains do. This one in Tunbridge Wells is a great place to stop in(they have plenty of seating; upstairs and downstairs) after a hard day of shopping! I will be recommending to my friends and family for sure!
