A great venue upstairs. Paul Dunton showcases local music on Wednesdays & Sundays (go!!!) and there is a comedy club once a month too. Jazzy stuff at other times… I’d describe it as a club for the thirty-​somethings and up. The food I’ve had was just OK but they were super busy that night. A gem in The Pantiles.

You can find The Grey Lady at the end of the Pantiles. It plays host to variety of nights; live music from local acts, jazz, salsa, flamenco and comedy. Serving excellent food — ranging from tapas to sizzling steaks — coupled with helpful and attentive staff makes for an enjoyable evening.

We went to the Grey Lady on a Sunday night. Sunday nights are always difficult as places seem to be empty and lack atmospherehowever Sunday nights at the Grey Lady are where the people from Tunbridge Wells all seem to go!
They had three local musicians who were all very talented and were showcasing thier own songs and music.
The bonus was that we could also eat while we listened and watched the musicians. And the food was excellent — we recommend the paella — great!
Would definitely go again — nice to go somewhere with food and music

Located in the historic and beautiful Pantiles area, the Grey Lady puts on several music nights a week including Wednesday & Sunday for acts in and around the local area and a live jazz act every Thursday. Well worth a visit and the food is excellent too.
