Pretty standard Caffe Nero. Nero isn’t my favourite out of the coffee chains, but it does the job when you need it. The food at Nero is better than a certain massive chain starting with an S, but that’s personal preference. The one on Clifton Road is pretty good, and the staff are friendly enough. No complaints here, it does the job.

I was gone for a few weeks over the holidays and was happy to find this new addition to the Maida Vale area on Clifton Gardens Road up on my return in January. Although I’m still hopelessly in love with all the lovely small business cafes in the area, I like having this quick option for when I’m on an errand to pick up a few things at Tesco Express across the street and want to grab an espresso and pastry or sandwich on the go. Already becoming a regular here!
