Excellent food and very friendly service. Everything went perfectly from the moment we walked in the door. And Fernando was the best!

Very good selections of tapas. Pork belly, meatballs, and crostini were my favourites. Overall great experience!

Pros: Lovely set up, good food, good quick service Cons: Very less options for veggies. This is placed pretty close to the main road of Twickenham, yet away from all the hustle bustle of the road and it immediately sets you in the mood to enjoy a calm and peaceful meal. They have a wide range of non vegetarian food and have very less of the veggie options. They have both outdoor and indoor areas so you can enjoy a meal under the sun during summers and get all cosy and warm during the winters to enjoy your meal. The food is mostly Mediterranean, I had ordered some grilled prawns in tapas for food and it was grilled to perfection the prawns were juicy and had a good balance of flavours. They serve a wide range of meat and one of my friend tried the rabbit at this place and it was pretty well cooked. For drinks i had the café mocha which was done very well the flavours were rightly balanced and felt wonderful on a rainy afternoon. I would recommend this place for large groups, office lunches, catch up with friends. Drool Factor? The prawns are definitely drool worthy !!! Hole in the pocket? Its decently priced for the quantities they serve.

Service quite slow. My 1st time have feel stomached till now 2:50am in the morning and have to go to toilet all the time. Probably the sea food is not so fresh and I already smelled something strange about the mussel. Never go back again but wish your biz goes well though.

Awesome service and great meal. Wine list is good. Lovely atmosphere. Only complaint is that the chairs were a little uncomfortable after sitting for a while.

Been to this place couple of times now. Good food and nice place but service is bit slow maybe because both the time when we had gone it was over crowded. Staff is warm and courteous. They have a good wine collection to go with food. Kids friendly place.

It’s usually just me when it comes to being critical, but I’m really not sure how this place has earned the 4.5* rating it has(accurate at the time of writing). First of, I have to commend them for a very homely feel to the restaurant. The décor makes you feel like you’re in a house somewhere in the tropics, with clay plastered walls and bullhorns sporadically adorning the rooms. However, as someone else here points out, it’s a «Med Tapas Bar»… Wait. A what?! Med Tapas? What the flip is that? It means it’s a Mediterranean + Spanish fusion tapas bar. Now, I’m all for adequate marketing of a restaurant, but using Pinxtos and Tapas in the same description just shows the well travelled that you don’t know your sh*t. Anyway, we have just about one of each on the menu, because we were part of a big party. Now there were some dishes I liked, and tasted good, but had no place on a «tapas» menu or in Mediterranean cuisine. I guess the concept works for all the drunken louts and unmistakably yuppie DINKs who seem to eat here. Everything was served with English influence. Apple sauce with the pork belly, a mint tzatziki sauce with the lamb skewer, oh, and meatballs swimming in a marinara type sauce. This place is seriously confused. They serve mediocre tapas, subpar mediterranean food and with a british twist. Not the kind of combination I’d go for, nor go to again.

Excellent restaurant! The food is prepared fast and I always find something interesting on the menu that I haven’t had before. Also, the staff is friendly to us and greets us properly every time me and my friend go there.

Away from main road so quiet. Easy going atmosphere and outside chess set! Lunch was tasty, speedily served with a smile and not too expensive. Food came to £10 per head. Would go back may try evening next time. Weak coffee. In fact coffee was dire weak and watery. Yuk. However, staff replaced it with a decent coffee very quickly on request. Why did they not serve a decent coffee the first time?

One thing that always amazes me about Spanish restaurants and Tapas places is why would you offer small tables to four people? Personally, I tend to go crazy on the tapas, especially when they are tasty like Pincho’s. I need a large table that can accommodate at least five different plates per person :-) Now, you’ll surely have understood that Pincho offers excellent dishes(don’t miss out on the grilled haloumi, it’s delicious). It also has a great selection of wine. The service is quick enough, and the staff is very friendly and always available when needed(especially when you want to order more tapas!) All in all, it’s a great place for a nice lunch or dinner! Highly recommended.

On entering, we were warmly greeted by a very smily young girl who walked us to our table whilst striking up pleasant small talk about the Rugby. We sat down and were handed the main menu, the wine list and the specials. The menu has a lot of choice, but not too overwhelming. The main options are Tapas, Main Courses and Paella(the menu can be found on the website, so you can browse at your leisure rather than me drone on about it here). I ordered Sauteed Chorizo with white wine and red pepper, Pork belly with apple sauce, Chicken Skewers and Salmon and Honey mustard. Each was divine. Well worth the price, which may seem expensive(either side of a fiver per dish), but worth it for the flavours that dance upon your tongue like the opening night of Riverdance(when the cast are all fresh and enthusiastic, not tired and full of injuries towards the end). The service was impeccable and, like in Last Action Hero(showing my age?) all the staff are beautiful. And if any of them are reading, that curly haired blonde lady was not my girlfriend. I was the boy in the brown hoody,(not just a hint, but also points out that the restaurant doesn’t require any particular dress code). All in all, a throughly enjoyable experience. Well recommended to impress a date or take your parents. I’ll no doubt pop in again for the Paella. I’ll let you know how it goes.

To begin at the beginning Pincho offers three sections to choose from; Tapas, Mains and Grills, and Salads, each of which have daily specials on the boards. The food was excellent and not served as minute portions. Three of us ate far too much but as a result can highly recommend the following: Hoummous, Sea food skewers glazed with Lime & Coriander, Moroccan spiced Chicken skewers with wild garlic yoghurt, spicy minced lamb with the same, Crab and prawn cakes with balsamic and sweet chilli, Baby spare ribs, Rib eye steak, Beef and chorizo meat-balls with tomato sauce. Crispy duck and watermelon salad. OK we are(I am at least) pigs. The beer and wine were reasonably priced with specials on bottles of wine(bin-ends) Service was excellent and all of the staff were very attentive. We only ate downstairs where the atmosphere was very good, my wife has also eaten upstairs with friends and said that it is not as welcoming. Prices very keen and all round excellent value.

i love, love love this restaurant. Recently taken over and revamped, this restaurant is always packed… which speaks for how wonderful it really is. In a great location with an outside heated area(fabalous in summer) Pincha is authentically decorated, with friendly service this restaurant is great for a snack or intimate evening meal… i have seen many a date take place in the candle lit evening setting! The menu is completley unique and consistes of a variety of fish, meat, and potato dishes. my personal favourite are the risotto balls! And if the tapas option is not for you there is a fully menu of chicken, steak, paella and lobster to mention but a few. really does have to be tried, i wasn’t a fan of tapas before i discovered pincha!

I don’t have a lot of spare time, so this won’t be a long review… :) But my wife and I stumbled across Pincho about 6 weeks ago for the first time and have since had two fantastic meals there(and have reservations for this coming Sat night!). I can honestly say that I’ve been impressed with every dish I’ve tried so far and the service and atmosphere is spot on. If you’re a fan of tapas and are looking for somewhere way above average, check out Pincho.

An impromptu visit to Twickenham one sunny autumn day was how we discovered my new favourite place to have tapas — Pincho. Hidden away off the main drag, Pincho is a «Med Tapas Bar» which opened at the end of July 2007. We rocked up at around 1.30pm on a Saturday, and were pleased to see that there was a decent number of people already dining. After perusing the menu outside, we were tempted in by several tasty sounding dishes, and by the reasonable prices. Pincho is housed in an attractive looking building, tastefully decorated in an understated way(which I like). We were given a warm welcome and service was very good during our visit — which turned from a quick bite into a longer lunch, because we enjoyed the experience so much. We decided to order 3 tapas dishes to start, and one main meal, all to share. It was a tough choice, but to start we settled on the Chorizo & Courgette Tortilla, the Deep fried spicy marinated Sardines, and the Dates stuffed with goats cheese & wrapped in pancetta. Wow — they were all excellent. The stand out for me was the dates — it was a magical combination. and how can anything with goats cheese be bad! For main course we shared the Lamb, potato, chick pea & prune tajine with cous cous. It was delicious as well — the prunes just fell apart and added a subtle sweetness to the dish. The serving sizes were generous, and coupled with a bottle of Chilean Sauvignon Blanc — which we were not planning on drinking all of(yeah right!), we were pretty full by this stage. However, somehow the dessert menu made it onto our table and one of the items sounded intriguing so we ordered it — the Chocolate and rice pudding semi-freddo. Well, it was different and quiet nice, but not something I would order again. though we did managed to eat it all. Just when I thought we were done, the owner(who had been serving us for most of the meal) appeared with a couple of complimentary glasses of a mildly fizzy, chilled red sweet wine. It was a lovely gesture and the perfect finish to our meal at Pincho.
