This restaurant used to be a lot better, but has deteriorated drastically over the past six months or so. Went there for a meal on Thurs 12^th Feb 2009 and within an hour of leaving the restaurant I suffered nauseous abdominal pains which continued for the following 24 hours accompanied by severe flatulence. I have since learned that one of the friends with whom I dined suffered similar symptoms but even more severe. I am not saying that our symptoms were in any way related to the meal in Sataya, as I have no proof, but I am just stating the facts. The food tasted ok, although not worth the huge bill presented to us at the end of the evening. Needless to say — none of us will ever go there again, and neither would we recommend this restaurant to anyone we know — or don’t know. We may, however, recommend it to the Hillingdon Borough authority. Finally, the address on this webpage states that Uxbridge is in Buckinghamshire. It isn’t and never has been. The locals like to think it’s in Middlesex, but it’s actually in the London Borough of Hillingdon. Definitely not Buckinghamshire though.

This is a good Indian restaurant for those that are vegetarian. I have been a couple of times. The atmosphere is really nice. The food is great, there’s lots of it. The buffet is around £7.00 and really good value. It’s ideally placed near the river. The restaurant is clean, and the staff very friendly. The Masala dosa is my favourite.
