Starbucks

Quite often dirty and tables not cleared away (especially upstairs).
Remember to ask the counter staff for the toilet code, if you fancy using the toilet during your visit.

Out of many of the Starbucks I have visted, being a bit addicted, this store is not the best I have been in — it is not the worst either, but definately improvements could be made.
Whenever I go in, they appear never to have the right amount of staff to deal with the customers and clearing tables at the time. I don’t expect the sort of slick servcie I receive in some of the city branches, but waiting 10 minutes for a coffee when I am one of only two customers in the shop I think is excessive. I find the quality of some of their coffees, particularly the machiatos, a bit hit and miss too.
The worst thing about this place however, are the toilets. they are loaced, and you have to aks if you want to use them. This I feel is quite degrading, and detracts from what could be a great coffee experience.

A fine example of the starbucks chain, right across from a waterstones. It has two floors, the upper level has the nicer sofas and seats. Gives good view down to passing people going into the chimes. A good place to meet since its easy to find from the tube station.
