La Fortezza

What an amazing restaurant. I’ve been there twice and had the best risotto you could imagine !
The portion were massive and the food delicious.
As a starter I had the tomatoe, avocado and mozzarela, simple but very tasty.
The restaurant itself is very romantic, low light, quite intimate, and there is a tree in the middle of the room. Beautiful atmosphere. Little advice, I would book before going.
I can’t wait to go again.

Good food, but service was extremly rushed! It wasn’t even busy but everytime I or my boyfriend paused from our meal we were asked if we had finished! Were done within 45 minutes! Nice food and interior but wouldn’t go again due to the ‘rushed’ service

This is a one of the best italian restaurants in area it is an intimate and romantic venue all of the staff are very friendly and attentive the service is very good and the food is supurb and the menu is extensive the wine list is good but the wine to be recomended is the WAKEFIELD SHIRAZ !!! you will not find any better in my opinion you should give it a try !!!

My boyfriend took me to la fortezza and i must say i was very impressed. From what i read on the internet from the reviews i had imagined a cramped and crouded resterant with bad service and rude waiters. However after being to the resterant, been seated straight away, and greated by kind and well manered staff, they couldn’t have been more wrong. The food was excellent and the wine was just as good. I would defferantly go again and would also recomend it to anyone looking for a sepcial night out without it seriously braking the bank. xx
