Touted as Hersham’s finest Fish and Chips, it’s really Hersham’s only Fish and Chips. Operated by a gaggle of Hong Konger women the fish is usually freshly made but the chips could be a little hit and miss. If you get them fresh they’re crispy and almost as good as doubly fried chips but other times they get soggy quick.
Middlingly priced, the only complaint I have is that I have to stand outside and wait as the oil fumes in the shop itself are too intense (they should get a better extractor fan). Service is friendly and waits aren’t too long. Best chippy in the area.

Visiting my daughter and grandsons today we thought we would try this fish and chip shop fir lunch. I was the only customer that should have set the alarm bells ringing! Ordered two small cod and a battered sausage and two portions of chips. These were the most disgusting meals we have ever had the misfortune to try and eat. Chips were so hard they were difficult to eat clearly reheated from last night. The fish was the same and more batter than actual fish. Same goes for the sausage. Plus when opening the fish there was only one piece not two. The whole lot went in the bin and we shall not go here again. Plus they don’t accept cards only cash!!!!
