A very good authentic Italian, pasta and mains, no pizzas. Atmosphere is great and that’s mainly due to the owner who is so friendly and always does what he can to make your visit a good one.

On a chilly night we ventured into a quite pleasant room, restaurant two thirds full .
Friendly service with genuine Italian accents, but from then on it was a dissapointment.
On the starters, vegetable soup was very good, my whitebait was OK, but slightly oily.
Wines were not too good, with a glass of white undrunk.
My calf’s liver was really mediocre, and likewise the other main courses, by this time were all a little cold, so declined desserts and coffee and headed for home.
It’s a slightly dated, old fashioned Italian restaurant, and the world has moved on.
I felt two stars would have been harsh, but three is a little generous.
