As this is my local I’m normally found propping up the bar most nights. A fantastic pub with a great selection of drinks and food. There’s a large garden out back which is perfect in the summer. Even when it’s raining you can still sit outside and enjoy a drink in the covered terrace.
The restaurant area has a cosy feel and the sunday lunch is particularly outstanding. The cheese board is specially nice and comes with a good cheese to cracker ratio (most important).
It’s a perfect place for a quiet drinks with friends or a family meal, though I do have to say that on Friday and Saturday nights it does get quite busy!

Great in the Summer as there’s a good beer garden with a rear entrance to the park. Usually 2 or 3 guest beers.
