I went to see Redz in Grindon. It is the same people, just a different store (it used to be Mariners). The food here was delicious, it was the best fish and chips I had in a long time. The staff are really friendly and always cheereful when you go in, no matter how bust they are. I would definately recommend the Redz store in Grindon to anyone. I do suggest you give them a try, you won’t be disappointed.

Ok there’s not a lot of competition out there for title of best fish & chip shop in Washington. DOnwell Chippy has the edge of sheer portion size (outrageous that one person can eat fish and chips with a cuppa and bread and butter), but Redz certainly has large enough portions and a much better quality.
Can’t comment on delivery as I only ever call in person as I don’t think fresh fish and chips lend themselves to home delivery.
