Carluccio’s

I remember when this Carluccios first opened and they were training so they would let customer in and tell you that by the way you are going to get a free meal. We did this twice.
Even though the food was free it really lacked lustre and the the stand out meal was the Lasagne.
Came here again and now we paid for it this time and still the same thing I has some sausage pasta dish.
They used to have a Coffee and Pastry deal which was £2 up until 12pm from Mon-​Friday which recently removed. I loved their fresh pastry the plum tarts was devine! So fruity and lush in the mouth. Now their coffee never did it for me I found their lattes too bitter. I use to love sitting outside… so Waford High Street is not Venice but on a nice sunny day it lovely sitting outside watching the world go by.
I do like the ambience and décor of Carluccios it has a touch of class to it, but it’s a shame about the food.

Came here for breakfast, was not busy but service was really slow…
I got scrambled eggs with salmon on toast. The salmon was shredded in to small pices and mixed in with the egg, I would of perfered the salmon on the side. The portion was also really sma.
The food did tast good just the service and the portion size that lets it down.
