The Lal Bagh is the most local Indian restaurant to us, and we have eaten there twice in the last two weeks — both times, very good food (and some excellent house specialities that you won’t see in a run-​of-​the mill Indian restaurant). The service is friendly and just the right level without being intrusive — as can be the case at other establishments we’ve visited!
Good food, good value, good staff — would recommend if you’re in the area.
