Watford is Nan’s discount shopping stomping ground. 2x a week Nan sets out to Watford with her scooter in tow to do some shopping.
I don’t usually get out there myself but when I do I like to take her out for a bite to eat. We found ourselves at the Moon Under Water lured by the lunch deal as the big sign.
I was pleasantly surprised by how good my jacket potato and beans was here. They garnished it with a bit of salad and nice dressing. Nan got an English breakfast and we paid less than 10 pounds for both meals.
The décor is a bit grimy in that unhip pub kind of way but the food was really good and Nan was able to get in easily with her scooter.
I believe everyone should take their Nan out once a week. I mean what good did you do on a Sunday?
