Two floors of this book shop have now been condensed to the ground floor to make way for the coffee shop. This store has really gone downhill and is disorganised and chaotic, there is never anyone on hand to help and now waterstones has disappeared from the Harlequin centre this is a sorry alternative for a store of this size.

This is a rather large WH Smith store in Watford and they sell lots of different style magazines, books, stationary and small snacks likes sweets and gum. The store is very tidy and the staff are helpful and friendly, they could have some more around the shop floor itself. The interior of the shop is nicely laid out and situated within the shopping centre. Its a very popular shop for the family and the kids can go and look at the children books whilst you go and look for a magazine or too.

WH Smith in Watford is in the Harlequin Centre. It is on two floors. The ground floor is mainly taken up with books. There’s quite a good selection of children’s books, a few jigsaw puzzles and a big section of adult fiction and non fiction. Upstairs is a Post Office right at the back of the shop. The upper level is mainly art, gifts, cards and stationary. There is a small area for dvd’s and cd’s. Although this is a relatively small shop it does have a good range of stock. However, it is very crowded and I found that the display stands are very close together. I think it would be quite tricky for someone in a wheelchair to shop comfortably here.
