Picture perfect! Despite its seclusion, I am very satisfied with this B&B like hotel/boutique. Very affordable and free wifi. Every room has a nice view including rabbits hoping around early morning. I would recommend jogging around the lot early am then having breakfast. Coffee is great made to order. I will return here if I ever revisit oxford.

According to their website the Lambert is a remodeled origonal coaching inn. We stayed here for business reasons. We were lodged in the newy refurbished area. Nicely furnished rooms with a good sized bathroom, free wifi, and a nice pasture view.
The Pub/restaurant has a good ale selection and a fullbar. There is also a full lunch and dinner menu with your traditional pub fare. My fish and chip dinner was very good. A large moist white fish, a good portion of chips and mashed peas hit the spot.
The fitness center is large and well equipped. There is also a spa treatment center on site so I may have to take advantage of their ½ price massage deals…

The Lambert Arms has recently been renovated and enlarged.
The bar area has been very nicely done and has a modern but cosy feel with open fires and comfy sofas. The bar prices are quite reasonable for drinks with some beer at only £2 a pint I believe. They also offer hot drinks in the bar.
The bar menu is quite small and in my opinion a bit on the pricey side so I’ve yet to try it. Some of the staff seem a bit inexperienced but other than that I can’t really fault it.
There is ample free parking and the Lambert Arms is very easy to reach off the M40.
I haven’t used the hotel facilities but it looks to have been enlarged greatly.
