Coco’s is off Wembley high road, when you get to the store you are met with the coco’s hair shop that sell hair products and weave but that’s another review, The salon is in the basement of the store as you get in, you have a lovely waiting room, with leather sofas, a small reception area and a TV. Your ears are met with the sounds of pirate radio song’s, ranging from bashment, RnB and ragga. The salon is a small and it seems the money was spent more on making the waiting area better looking then the salon itself. Well Coco’s have changed a lot from being a vivacious salon with about four workers, to now one worker. I was in dire need of a trim and it used to be priced at £5 now to my shocking surprise it was £20… now you have to understand I would not pay that money just for a trim but I was desperate. She explained that the prices went up due to the fact she has to rent the chair for a £100 a week, and so that would be the reason the other hairdressers departed. Miranda was excellent in her customer service to me, very friendly and we had a really good chat. She doesn’t just do black hair she does all hair types. She also specialises in doing hair extensions and lace weaves as well. The salon open five days a week, you probably would need to call and book or take a risk and wait, now that their is only one worker. Would I come here again? Yeah but to something fabulous to my hair not for basic things I think ill just DIY when it comes to basics.
