The Cameron Grill is located in the Cameron House Hotel which is an upmarket hotel outside of Glasgow on the Loch Lomond. This is a steakhouse and serves fabulous steaks from Scotland and of course some locally sourced fish dishes. I had the Smoked Salmon starter which was a variety of smoked salmon with different flavours and it was exquisite :-) My favourite was the beetroot smoked salmon. For main I had the butchers board which came with Venison Sausage, Beef Cheeks, Steak and calves liver… all of it excellent and I was not able to finish my board. Dessert was a trio of homemade ice creams and again excellent. The service here is good and friendly and the wine list is a bit restrictive and few good reasonably priced wines which was a disappointment(hence the 4 stars). Value for money is also not great but then again it is to be expected being in such an establishment. The place was fully booked out for Friday night and it was hard to get a reservation. Well worth a visit if you love your steak and seafood but be prepared to spend a few bob here as it is not cheap.
