As a ‘city-​slicker’, someone who doesn’t often get to see grass, the trip out to TCBATA was quite foreign to me, but I’m glad that I made the journey having now experienced the second best steak pie I’ve ever had (the first being my mom’s and so I’m not sure it’s a fair competition). The interior and exterior of the eatery are both well maintained and very clean, and the pond in the back is very picturesque, I’m sure providing a great place to sit and enjoy the sun in the summer months. The counter staff, as well as those delivering food and those who cleared our plates were all well-​mannered and friendly, being exactly the right amount of attentive as to offer a fantastic lunch experience. All in all, TCBATA it about as good as it gets!
