The broadstraik has recently been done up and wow what an improvement! From the main entrance you enter a lovely cosy bar area, with plenty of squishy sofas by the fires and nice comfy seats. The wine is lovely and there are real ales on tap. Through to the restaurant area, it is nicely decorated, warm and spacious with another fire. The service is attentive and friendly and the menu changes regularly and has lovely hearty food all at reasonable prices. I can particular recommend the burger — although the wedges are spicy! All in all, a lovely bar and restaurant, worth the drive out of town for. There is plenty of parking and it is kid friendly. I hope you like it as much as I do!
