Came for a birthday treat. First time at a spa.
Was very relaxing, although we weren’t quite sure what we should have been doing — a bit more guidance from the staff would have been helpful, but the girls were lovely and helpful when asked!
Really enjoyed the treatments. Place was all to ourselves and we had a lovely relaxing day.
Would definitely return!

A short drive out of Bristol, this lovely spa is the ideal retreat for groups of friends, couples or individuals seeking respite from city life. My friends and I drove out here for a day that I will always remember as one of the most relaxed and gorgeous of my life. We started with coffee in the welcome lounge, while we were invited to choose our treatments for the morning, our menu and drinks for lunch, and our afternoon treatments. Then we got into our fluffy white robes and flip-​flops, and the relaxation had begun.
The whole place is calm right from the moment you arrive. You’re free to roam around the spa, pop into the sauna or the steam room whenever you like, or just have a chill on one of the huge lounger chairs and read magazines. Lunch was superb: fresh salads and jacket potatoes, and steamed fish and vegetables. The glasses of wine were large and lovely.
Spa experiences are always going to be costly, but the whole point is that they are a treat. You just pick the package that suits you; and here, there are plenty of different options. This spa is not as huge and overwhelming as some; the fact that you can find your way around quickly and make yourself at home all adds to the process of relaxation.
