This is a great little pizza place on the harbour with lovely views of the fishing boats. The restaurant is on the second floor up fairly steep steps. There is a lift if you have a pushchair as we did. The range of food is limited to pies and pizza, with both meat and veggie options. But it’s all locally sourced amd there’s a good range of topping/fillings and there’s also a children’s menu. You order food at the bar, as well as drinks — the speciality is Dorset cider. The people working brhind the bar are generally very friendly(we’ve been twice now) and it’s informal with bench seating, good for groups. We just walked in both times and didn’t book, but we eat early because of the children. You might want to give them a ring in peak summer as there are only about 20 tables.

The stable is in the old port area in Weymouth. Located in an old warehouse ones needs to go up to the first floor. There is seating as well on the second floor with amazing views. Its a strange combination of pizza, pies and cider. You order at the bar … as in any good old English pub. Behind the bar you can see all the different ciders and you can have a taster board with five different ciders. If you just want a pint, don’t be afraid to ask for a taster before committing. I did not try the pies, but the pizzas are lovely and crisp and boast a few different ingredients like walnuts ant butternut squash. The staff is lovely and helpful and the place is buzzing for a reason. Great food and great cider.
