Very good Indian food. Very slow service. Ordered lamb, but got chicken instead, but that was ok, because the chicken was very good. Awesome nan. If the service was faster/more attentive and my order was right, 4 to 5 stars. I’d definitely eat here again.

Fab place! Make sure to book on a Friday or Saturday. A little pricey but we ordered too much food. Definitely do not need starters and a main to yourself as it’s so filling! The onion bajii for starters is SO good and ginormous! Staff are lovely and the conservatory is a nice place to sit

Second visit to Bekash in last couple of months. A customer (and mate) is in Basildon so we came here for dinner.
Its what I think is the second generation of Indian restaurants, closed down pubs which are reinvented. you can see from the website that is very modern, bright furniture, led mood lighting etc. Thats all very good but I hanker after the back street curry house, flock wallpaper, dodgy music etc. I guess you cant live in the past !
However — 4 stars means good food and service.
usual menu with a couple of specials in keeping with the fusion effect they are going for.
portion size was good, chicken and lamb was good quality and plenty of it.
there was 4 of us, we didnt bother with starters just making do with the papads and dips.
4 curries, 4 veg sides, 2 naan, 3 rice, 8 pints of Cobra = £100 with tip.
thats good value I think. Everybody enjoyed and I guess we will be back.

One of our favourites.
Staff are great, very helpful and thoughtful. Always friendly.
Food is definitely up to scratch — tasty dishes, a full menu with everything we come to expect of Indian restaurants.
Nice environment
Handy for dine in or take out.
Will return time and time again.

I love this restaurant. The food is excellent and the building itself is light and airy. There as a beautiful conservatory to sit in or you can opt for booth seating for privacy. Watch out if your partner is wearing a low cut top though because some members of staff just can’t keep their eyes out of the cleavage. You do have to laugh though. I go here regularly and I am fussy with my food.
