Lovely café with table seating around the square. I had coffee and a sandwich and both were very good– not amazing– but I giving it five stars because they are such a nice local establishment. The bread and baked goods looked really delicious but I didn’t try them.

Delicious freshly made quiches and good breads. We had spelt and malted breads. Good view from the second floor across the square during the week and the market at weekends. Order downstairs and they will bring it.

All organic, all fresh, all hand made… not a bit of mass commercialisation in sight, and all the better for it! The test of any baker is a croissant… and this place gets 10 out of 10 and makes and folds them all by hand! Brilliant buns, bollocking beverages and you can smell the freshness… a winner! On a summers day sit in the revamped square, chat with your chums and watch life go by… all so European and wonderful And we even bought a beetroot loaf to take home… now that’s unusual but not as unusual as the nettle loaf we missed yesterday!

Great location on Market Square, but all outdoor seating is in the shade. Serves light lunches and snacks plus coffee. Takeaway cakes, pastries and breads but on the pricey side. A large sourdough loaf cost £3.90 and a bit dense and dry. I actually prefer the tiger bread from the market at £1.50 for a large loaf.
