Rating des Ortes: 4 Wimborne Minster, United Kingdom
This pub/restaurant was getting a little shabby and had to decide whether to be a bar with a small rstaurant or a restaurant with a small bar. The new owners decided to streamline the inside of this old inn and give precidence to the restaurant side of the business with very pleasing results. There you will find a decent wine list, friendly knowledgeable staff and a varied menu written on a chalkboard(thereby emphasising its freshness) There are many fish dishes and the chef will tell you where the fish were caught. My companion chose crab from Mudeford and I chose trout from a local farm. They were good choices being tasty and well presented. To finish we had summer pudding with Dorset blueberries(delicious but on the expensive side) Verdict: somewhere to go for a special night out rather than a cheap pub regular
