Great little country pub with great food and solid company. Too many favorites to count, including the ploughmans, the flat iron steak and the suet, steak and kidney pie :)

Went here on the bank holiday sunday as it was only a ¼ mile walk from where we were staying, tried to book a table but it was fully booked, we then discovered that they had seats outside so we asked if we could get a roast served out there no problems, 3 x roast beef and 1 x roast lamb, the food was excellent, beef cooked to perfection served with 3 large cripsy roast potatoes, carrots, cheesey leeks, caluliflower and broccoli and a very large yorkshire pudding, the ladies in our party opted for a dessert each and chose «Baileys Bubbles» I shan’t spoil it for you but if you’re ever down that part of the world again I can recommend it however be aware it does NOT open on Sunday evenings.
