Boots Stores

Of note the boots store has now moved– just over the street into what used to be woolworths.
It is now much larger, has more ‘premium’ beauty countres and a huge ‘gift’ area (on 3 for 2 at the moment as it always seems to be!)

Visited the store for an international adapter for my laptop and found it reasonably priced. The store staff was very helpful in locating item, and the clerk quickly rang me up. The rating was okay because I found the store with limited selection of certain items, but if you are in a bind and need some pharmacy or misc food or hygiene items then this is the place to come.

This boots is slightly smaller than the one in slough and so has less stock.
Whenever i go in there on wekeends they almost never have the food i want. They get their delivery in before and by the weekend usually most of their sandwiches are gone.
This is really quite annoying as i have to get lunch and boots is right outside where i work but because they rarely have the meal deal combo (sandwich + drink + dessert/​snack for £2.99) i want, i have to go all the way to waitrose which uses up valuable break time.
It’s still a pretty good shop, the staff are all really helpful, and polite.
Their pharmacy sections pretty good, you get your prescription as quick as any other place.
They also do great deals on printing photos that aren’t too expensive and they don’t take that long either unless you choose the really high quality ones which do take some time.

AS pointed out by Hemzeh, this is a significantly smaller Boots than in Slough but has the same great variety of goods and at the same price. What makes it better than the Slough branch is the service you get there. With every purchase you make you et a smile with it, not only from the staff but the people there are generally very friendly. The meal deal as usual is reat value for money and is incredibly tasty and often nice and healthy.
The store is nestled away in the labarynthian complex of Windsor which gives it a less mass market feel, which is always nice.
