This is an all you can eat restaurant. Didn’t realise this til we sat down. Probably my own fault and not really what we were looking for. However once sat down we couldn’t be bothered to change so we ordered. Everything we had was pretty good. The sate chicken was incredible. Ribs were a bit dull. Duck was good. Everything else was average. If you had wanted a normal Chinese then this would be 3 star food. Given its an all you can eat place I’ve given it 4. Not my kind of place but for those who like it pretty good.

Please for the love of God do not go here. Place was freezing cold(as were the plates the food was served on). We went«a la carte» rather than all you can eat. Spring rolls were straight out of a cheap super market freezer bag, to be fair the crispy duck wasn’t bad — but is it possible to get that wrong? The beef in onion and ginger was one of the most disgusting things I’ve ever experienced in my life. The meat was horribly chewy and the sauce was something like a bisto gravy, tasteless and grey. Over all the taste and texture was nauseating. We also had Kung Po chicken(in batter), chicken was very overdone and dry. Generally portions were very small, although relative to the price, would have been good value for money had the food been edible. Egg fried rice was like rubber and had very strange taste. Whole place felt dirty — plastic chopsticks were grey at the end! Would never go back here again, we live in Windsor but very very much a tourist trap, with little care as to whether people return. I didn’t think restaurants like this existed any more! Don’t go.

I was super homesick for the great Chinese food in New York’s Chinatown, so I was absolutely thrilled to find this restaurant. I love how the all-you-can-eat menu is not buffet style, but more like tapas style! Great authentic food with great flavors, a fun and non-fussy atmosphere, attentive staff, and overall a great meal. We will be coming back again and again!

My cousin and his wife live around the corner from here and joked that we should take them there for dinner so we could order from the mysterious Chinese-language menu that is only shown to Chinese guests. In the end, we decided to take them up on it, on the night of the final of the World Cup. When we walked in and asked for the Chinese menu, we were initially told that there is no such thing(mind you, we were speaking in Mandarin, but are Caucasians), but after insisting it miraculously appeared. The waiter was clearly not happy serving us from this«secret» menu, but my cousin knows the owner, and when he came around, all went more smoothly. Our food came in due course, and was all surprisingly good. In fact, the people at the neighbouring table, who were ordering from the English-language menu, even asked what our dishes were, since they did not appear to be from their menu, and they looked infinitely better than the slop they were served. When we left, we took the Chinese menu back to our flat and I translated it into English for the owners to use with future guests who want to try some authentic Chinese dishes. We’ll see if they follow up with that! The comments about the atmosphere are spot-on, by the way. The management clearly does not waste any money on installing an appealing décor.

The food is not bad, but the atmosphere is like the worst restaurant of Chinatown !! You can eat all you want with a 13euro menu… The duck is not bad, the rice is poor, better trying the noodles.

Excellent restaurant. Fixed price, all you can eat Chinese food. But not a buffet. Friendly and efficient, hardworking wait-staff. You can order individual dishes, but we took the Chef’s recommended dinner comprising 4 appetizers, five main dishes, and other fixings. It’s bustling and noisy, and fresh delicious food. After dinner we enjoyed a live theatre play at the Windsor Theatre — two door up the street. All in all, a good night out.

We went to this place on account of Unilocal & hotel recommendations. This place was horrible and not worth the price. I think we paid something like 13 pounds per person for all you can eat… which is almost $ 20, plus drinks. The food was horrible… they first try to fill you up on fried appetizers that are pretty crumby and then bring you the main courses which were lacking flavor. The service good and the place was packed – so maybe its just us – but we hated it. It was horrible mass produced food that we will never have again.

This is the best Chinese buffet I’ve ever been to… period. I know that’s a strong statement and I’m bundling the US and UK when I say it, but it was an amazing place. First off, there were no buffet islands with their murky sneeze guards and inefficient heating trays, only tables occupied this place. Second, this«all you care to eat» establishment had a veritable army of waiters/waitresses to care to your needs. The extensive menu was unlimited, but EVERYTHING was brought to your table. That’s my kind of buffet. A setup like that could easily suck if it weren’t for the impeccable service(yes you heard right). I quickly became a regular at this restaurant. If you only go once then you MUST try their Peking style duck which is not only mouth watering, but they keep bringing it out until you can no longer feel your legs. All you can eat, deliciously prepared Peking duck. That alone should have you racing over.

This place has been closed down by health inspectors at least once if not twice. Everyone deserves a second chance but why risk it when there are so many other restaurants nearby? Ok so they’re not as cheap but like many things you get what you pay for.

Good food, eat as much as you like for around £13 per person. Staff try to hurry you in and out, but that really is the only downside.

wow this place is great. I have been here a fair few times and will definitely continue to. It is mainly chinese cuisine and is all you can eat. However it is served for you and is not self help. This is the best of both worlds because it makes it more formal — and somewhere you can come for a romantic meal without jumping up and down all the time. They first ask you to choose some starters — such as spring rolls, seaweed, prawn toast — serve it, then ask you if you would like more starters. They then repeat this for the duck pancakes(or whatever you choose as i think there are other options) and then the main meals. They do a range of meats in sauces and also a good vegetarian range. If you want vegetables in a sauce that is listed as meat, they will do it for you. The price isnt too bad and the service is good. It is situated near the theatre royal so is great to eat here before or after. The drinks are not included in the all you can eat price.
