The Bowl Inn and Hotel

nice place as a typical pub. worth to walk to, or park your Car for one pound for three ours. Lokal Bitter, a daily offer for dinner and good standard choices from the Card.

I came here one Sunday after a trip to Almondsbury Garden centre, which is literally a minute or two in the car from here, even though it was quite late in the afternoon the place was still full of people — mostly eating.
There wasn’t a massive menu, but I always think that’s a good sign in pubs, and had a lamb kebab style dish which was really quite tasty and more than I could manage. The desserts, one of which being a cherry bakewell tart, looked great but I didn’t manage to get round top ordering one!
There was a friendly local but welcoming feel about this pub, there were signs up for ale tasting sessions and they did have a good selection of ales on offer.
All round, a great pub. They also offer bed and breakfast although I haven’t had direct experience of that!
