Kirsty’s Surprise is a really cute card and gift store situated in Hoylake.
With masses of balloons, cards, teddy bears, wrapping paper, badges, small gifts and present accoutrements, this is an absolute must-​visit if you’re catering for a special occasion with aplomb.
There’s a good variety of cards suited to all events, such as birthdays and anniversaries.
Everything is organised logically and presented nicely.
A decent store.

This card shop is very similar to average chain ones like Clinton’s. Same type of stock, same type of prices generally speaking.
You know the stuff – mass marketed kitschy cards, fluffy teddy bears that are not cute, boring gift bags. Yep.
I’m sorry, but I think that if you are going to take the trouble to send a card you should find a really nice one, or make one. And the same goes for the gift. If you really care about a person, make it show. Don’t do what everyone else in the whole country does.
This shop is okay, but it’s definitely average and, in my opinion, boring. Sorry, Kristy, you failed to surprise me …
