Just had an annual price hike of nearly 10% which they’ve tried to hide with the VAT increase!
Not good value, why penalise their regular members?
Staff are not friendly either

Pool is nice and warm + good steam room and sauna.
The guy on reception was really unfriendly and unhelpful when we visited (trial visit)
WAY too much chlorine in bubbling pool — we all had to get out quickly (a ‘regular’ told us it was always like that)
Changing rooms not brilliant.
Café tiny and overpriced.
Shame really, with a bit of decent management it could be a good experience.

I found LA Fitness in Woking to be one of their poorer clubs and it certainly didn’t compare to LA fitness in the City.
The gym is well equipped with plenty of up to date equipment but, as a venue it lacks any privacy and feels like you’re exercising in a warehouse!
The space left for stretching is poor too.
The pool is small but acceptable.
The café area is tiny and, again, I wouldn’t rate it.
Treatments are OK but nothing special and the treatment rooms feel a bit pokey. Changing rooms are acceptable but there’s not much space and lockers come at a premium.
At peak times you’ll find yourself waiting for popular equipment yet, despite this, you’ll still find that the local area is being leafletted as they try to up their member numbers once again.
Car parking can be an issue and there has also been issues with people getting clamped despite being members.
For the price you pay there are far better alternatives.
