Consistant good food…
Having just moved to the area, I find this to be my go to place. On Friday evenings, the special is a pretty innovative fish menu and it is a joy to find out of ordinary and innovative dishes on the card.
On the regular menu, the sharing pizzete is pretty nice as a starter while waiting for the main dishes. The lamb is absolutely divine. As I am not a great roast fan, I am not too keen on them, but my friends are always pretty satisfied with the meal on a sunday!
The service is at times a bit scattered, but the kitchen makes up for it.

Modern bar interior popular with early evening crowd. Lots of outdoor seating but on a rainy night like today, is a limiting factor inside (especially as bar is small and there are not many places to sit or stand. 2 drinks and 2 pks crisps were £10.

We have become huge fans of the Inn at Maybury since the revamp! We eat there regularly and always have a great meal. They cook the best steaks in the area — and the prices are very reasonable. Plenty of variety on the menu and also provide smaller portions for children on request.
A good selection of wine — and friendly staff on hand who are happy to allow you to taste before you buy!
They do get busy (which is always a good sign) so best to book in advance for an evening meal.
