The chips are like what we get in Ireland, so that says something! Fish is great as well as the chicken burgers. Love the little packets of sauce they give you too

It is perfectly normal practice to run frozen fish under a tap. It is not actually ‘defrosting’ it, it is actually just removing the surface ice so rice cones and batter will stick to it when fried.
As for you and your ‘partner’, you should both keep your ignorant, uninformed mouths shut, until you know what you’re actually talking about.
This is coming from someone that has run chippies for 12 years.

I actually went out one night looking for another fish & chip place, but I’m soooo glad that one was closed, as Seafare was delish! (I’ll give the other place a try one day, I suppose. maybe.) Food was fresh, crispy (I HATE soggy fish & chips) and hot, and the place itself was very bright and clean. Prices were completely in line with what you’d expect. And if I’m remembering right, they were open quite late.
