I’ve eaten here over many years now. I prefer to eat upstairs under the wooden beams & white washed walls where the ambience is great. I’d rate the food is above average but avoid the stale pickles! Many an otherwise good Indian restaurant fall down here — not enough attention to detail. I had a stupendous very hot lamb curry — great with plain rice — very memorable but ruined by the pickles. Service good & unhurried, usually busy & not too expensive.
